Our History

For many years the southwestern zone of Colombia has been distinguished by family tradition of eating milk sweets and fruits.

Thus, in 1986, during a holiday season in a family farm near the city of Popayan, begins with the development of traditional and exquisite “Manjar Blanco”  (milk sweet) Rinconcito; Initially this product was manufactured with firewood, distributing consumption to the local market and some families. Subsequently firewood in production processes was replaced by gas burners in 1989; the pan was replaced by pots and likewise the burners were replaced by the boiler in 1995, improving production processes. In 2008, a modern plant of 683 m2 is built, expanding production capacity to supply new markets, diversifying into new product lines.

Our company began marketing in shops and small supermarkets in the city of Popayan (Colombia), years later offer in the national market of supermarket chains in the country.

We are characterized by the use of typical Colombian packaging such as Totuma or Mate, which is subjected to a process of improvement in quality and aseptic to comply the demands in the food area.
